His pictures show a very balanced, substantial dog, and the stories relayed by his owners tell of a stable, funny, intelligent, self-controlled, and easy-to-live-with disposition. After one of my mentors, a breeder-judge, returned from Australia, he told me that the dog's pictures didn't do him justice. Later, his breeder told me that the dog was the ideal for which he'd been striving in his 40 years of breeding.
